Darkest Eden

As I lay down tonight,
I pray for morns return.
To send the nights shadows,
Back to the dark corners.
Black as coal.

Do not fear nights cold stare.
Cast upon the blackness,
The fires that burn within.
And blind the piriah that
Takes its' toll.

Oh dearest heavens above
I ask not much of you.
Cast forth a single spark,
From your life giving pire.

Light up the darkest Eden,
This my soul.
